Class meets once-a-week for 16 weeks each semester. Hosted study sessions and individual tutoring sessions are available outside of class, free of charge.
Prerequisite: Algebra 1 or Similar Course
A high-school level class that focuses on the study of mathematical shapes, their positions in space, and relationships between them.
- 2D Shapes (such as triangles, quadrilaterals, and circles)
- 3D Shapes (such as cubes, cones, and spheres)
- Similarity and Congruence
- Two-Column Proofs
- Trigonometric Ratios.
Homework is 2 to 3 hours per week.
